Men's Health Magazine Illustrations and Icons

Over the course of the past few months, we had the pleasure of working on a couple fun projects for Men's Health Magazine.  The first was for a profile of actor and banjo picker extraordinaire Ed Helms.  We had previously worked with Ed on his bluegrass festival, The Bluegrass Situation, so it was fun to followup with some playful icons of Ed in some of his most iconic roles.  Along with covering Ed's rise to stardom, the final page of the article also included an advice column on how to handle some of life's big curveballs - getting dumped, moving, and starting a new job.  Check out our illustrations from both sections above.

Our second Men's Health project came for a feature on fun water sports to try this summer including paddle boarding, kayaking and windsurfing.  Above is the final icon series we created for the article. Below are our sketches of our initial ideas for all the illustrations and icons.
