Galactic 2014 Tour Poster

To kick off 2014, we had the pleasure of working with one of our favorite funk bands, Galactic. Galactic’s music fuses tradition New Orleans second-line rhythms with horns routed through guitar effects pedals and other unique sounds. For their poster, we equated their sound to a mad scientist’s take on a musical lab. All of the instruments in the band are represented in the poster as well as a few experimental objects.

The poster is a 24” x 18” five color screen print on French Construction Fuse Green paper. Check out our original sketch of the concept below as well as closeups of the final print.
