United Nations Sustainable City Illustration
Last year, the team at the United Nations Development Programme reached out to us with an idea for an upcoming project. They were working on defining a list of goals for developing sustainable cities of the future, and they imagined an illustrated isometric city might be a fun and effective way to showcase all of the features and elements that these cities might offer. We loved the idea and volunteered our illustration services to the project, eventually producing an illustrated city with over 20 sustainable details.
This week, the UN debuted the illustration at the 10th World Urban Forum taking place in Abu Dhabi, both in a physical presence at the forum and also in a new interactive animated website. There you can click through the city and learn about many of the sustainable elements that will be vital for cities of the future to implement. Thanks to the entire team at the UN Development Programme for including us in this meaningful project.
