Clif Bar Women Athletes Packaging

We love working with the team at Clif Bar, so we were honored to work with them for a first in the company’s 28-year history - the move to replace their iconic climber on their most popular flavors of Clif Bar packaging with six women athletes representing six different sports. The limited-edition packaging debuted on March 10 and will be available throughout 2020 while supplies last. 

The six featured athletes, Venus Williams, Megan Rapinoe, Ashima Shiraishi, Jordyn Barratt, Lakey Peterson, and Katerina Nash are world champions, Olympians, and Olympic hopefuls. The project proved to be a fun challenge, trying to evoke the qualities of the original climber illustration across a wide range of sports and environments, while also trying to bring some additional detail and a modern feel to the illustration style.

To pair with the release of the limited edition packaging, Clif Bar is also releasing a set of enamel pins, commemorating each of the six athletes.
